01 · The first practice

One CA, one promise

Indefine began as Sam and Raj Chartered Accountancy, founded by CA Rajkumar Annamalai soon after he qualified. The aim was simple — take the stress of finance off a business owner’s desk and handle it with the rigour it deserves.

02 · 2020 · Indefine launches

A team comes together

About a year later, a group of like-minded professionals joined to build something broader and launched Indefine — end-to-end accounting, tax, payroll and compliance under one roof. Among the co-founders was Lakshmanan Annamalai, an engineer with a decade in industrial automation at JSW.

Over a decade in taxation, audits and financial consultancy, from PricewaterhouseCoopers to K.B. Nambiar and Associates. He specialises in MSME taxation, tax appeals and strategic financial planning across real estate, trusts and hospitality — and lives the firm’s tagline, streamlining workflows.

A Chartered Accountant and CFO with 12+ years of global experience in valuations, SOX compliance and financial transformation. He has managed regulatory frameworks for multinational clients across 20+ countries and advises CEOs and CXOs on growth and controls.

A finance professional with 8+ years across auditing, accounting, compliance and taxation. As Head of HR he leads talent acquisition and workplace culture, and teaches the CA curriculum as visiting faculty at RV University, ISME and Royal College.

Abijithnanthan NM

Over 12 years in indirect taxation, audits and compliance, including SOX audits of multinationals at Grant Thornton. He leads a team of 20+ across accounts, audit, tax and secretarial, and has systemised operations with practice-management software and automation.
